Arcana: Judgement
Justification: Being known for a balance of light and dark, this card fits Rin well. His constant battle with the idea that he may or may not be used as a weapon for either side as well as fighting off the tempation of being a demon. This card is also known for decisions and new beginnings - Rin's choice to defeat Satan and the beginning of his new life.

First Person Sample:
I could really use some steak.
[ unseen, rin's rubbing his tummy. it's growling at him in anger, really. ]
I dunno about you, but I don't think they serve enough to eat at this new school. If we gotta pull weird 'persona' things out of us, they should at least give us something to fill in that gap and all.

Did you get any of that homework stuff... I was too busy thinkin about how awesome it is to jump into a TV. Too bad it's not into the show you like most or something.
I'd like to dive into some anime where they have a lot of cute girls and a lot of food... Or like Iron Chef.
[ which reminds him.
> send another damn text. ]
I am super damn hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
Third Person Sample:
"We should probably get back, huh?" But he's not moving. The breeze is blowing into his face, bringing with it a smell of underlying rot. Scrunching up his nose, Rin hops off of the roof and lands with a thump onto the dirt road beneath. The rotten smell follows him as he makes his way through the temple grounds. It was to be expected, really. So many people were sick here in Kyoto, so many people were being poisoned by the miasma from the demons. Somehow, Rin thinks that the smell is half real and half in his head - stress from the entire Eye deal, maybe.
He wishes Yukio were here.
That was a thought he wouldn't voice out- that dumb little brother! Rin was trying to use this excursion as a way to show Yukio just who was better. And the guy wasn't even here too enjoy defeat. Rin snorts. He knows that's bullshit. It makes him feel a lot better to think about how cool and awesome he is, it's a serious damper when Yukio can show him up without even being there. His tail twitches but he doesn't notice - too lost in his thoughts of 'dumb four eyes' to realise--
Whack! "Shit!"
Gripping his forehead tightly, Rin winces and glares at the door in front of him. Where the hell did that come from?! Don't doors know when to interrupt important thoughts? Giving the door a swift kick (and then howling, hopping around on one foot while he rubs his toes) he vents his frustration. That hurt, damn it! Reproachfully opening the door and hurrying inside, Rin sprints up to his room. Nobody needs to see the giant egg that's made a home on his head. Once in his room, he flops onto the bed, flipping his phone open. There's one text message.
Yukio. The message is short and to the point, making Rin curse and laugh at the same time. Maturely, he flips the bird at the screen and shoves the phone under the pillow. Kuro asks him what it said and Rin just rolls his eyes.
"He's just being a damn jailor, s'all," The boy begins shucking off his sweaty clothes, preparing for bed. "As usual. Can't trust me or anythin'. What a dumb four eyes."
Jumping back onto the bed, Rin stretches back, closing his eyes with the memories of the day and te smell of rot just swirling around behind his conscious. He falls asleep nearly immediately, kicking out at the blankets and dislodging the phone from beneath his head. It falls onto the floor, flipping open and lighting up briefly.
Don't do anything reckless, brother.
