Age: Your character’s age, to your best guess. Canon: The title of the canon or canons your character is from. If you are applying for an original character, state that here. Pull Point: From what point is the character being brought into Velvet Key? Be as specific as possible. BACKGROUND History:The history of the canon setting and the specific history of your character. Either a link or condensed written history will suffice. Personality: We require at least two paragraphs for this section. Here is where you show us how well you know your character. Tell us their good and bad traits, their fears, hopes, dreams, and quirks. How did their relationships and experiences shape them? We don’t just want an overview; give us all the little details that make up this character. GAME SPECIFIC Arcana: Which arcana do you think fits this character? Justification: Why does this arcana fit this character? Give us at least a few sentences of explanation. SAMPLES First Person Sample:This is a main comm post that should be written in the first person. This is the opportunity to show off your character’s voice. Despite the many monsters of his world, he never ran into many, mostly due to living in a special society, created to be as defended from Monsters as possible. He would, however, have a few encounters as he went through life, which mostly ended with Jeffrey barely killing the monster or running like a frightened animal.
His combat experience wasn't very in-depth. He still has a lot to learn... </b><br /><b>Personality: Very polite to others. He believes that showing courtesy is one of the few things that separates humans from the demons, and he intends on being as polite as possible to show that he is unlike the creatures he fears.
Despite his politeness, he's very untrusting of others, mostly due to the many Doppelganger monsters that he's encountered in his life. When encountering people he knows, he will ask them a question only he and the person would know. It won't be necessary where he's going, but he will continue it, almost as more of a quirk than an actual attempt at keeping himself safe.
He also gets frightened very easily. His first encounter with the Dark Hour will probably consist of panicked screaming and running. </b><br /><br /><font size="5" color="#00b2ee" face="georgia"><b>Game Specific:</b></font><br /><b>Arcana: Moon</b><br /><b>Justification: Jeffrey is afraid of most everything, due to the abundance of creatures out for his head in his old world.</b><br /><br /><font size="5" color="#00b2ee" face="georgia"><br /><b>Samples:</b></font><br /><b>First Person Sample: I ran through the streets in a panic, looking at the coffins surrounding me... Were there monsters HERE too?!? Will I be pursued by horrible creatures my entire life?!? Why does THIS dimension want me dead too?</b><br /><b>Third Person Sample: Jeffrey sat in the chair, waiting for the time to go by. In an attempt to entertain himself, he thought about the strange events that had happened on that night... What was with the strange coffins? Was there something important he was missing?</b>
