Character Info:
Name: Ryuunosuke Uryuu
Age: 26 (no age given, but has been off murdering for five years before the start of the story)
Canon: Fate/Zero
Pull Point: After his death via sniper rifle.

Background Info:
History: There is a thing called a 'Holy Grail', which magi compete for in order to gain a wish. Seven of them call forth heroic spirits - or the truly villainous figures of legend - in order to fight each other to obtain the prize.

However, the magi do not choose to be the ones to compete. The Grail chooses the ones that it wants to compete, and in the case of the plot of Fate/zero, it needed a seventh. Ryuunosuke is not a magus. He happens to have Magic Circuits - the part of the body inherited from one's family that allows a person to use magic - but he was not raised with any knowledge of magic, nor does he have the strict upbringing of the magus or the worldview. Any proper magus would be restricted and sensible in the pursuit of the Grail... Ryuunosuke doesn't care a bit.

When he summons Caster, he's trying to summon a demon so he can watch it kill. He used the blood of three members of a family of four to draw the summoning circle and keeps the fourth, a child, for the supposed demon to eat. When Caster does come, and the child soon horribly dies, he's overjoyed that such a cool guy answered his call.

Caster and Ryuunosuke soon get to sacrificing children and using them in their experiments - because of Caster's magic, they can twist the kids' shapes into whatever they wish and still keep them alive. They have almost no participation in the normal battles of the Holy Grail War, instead using the opportunity to become an unseen menace in the city.

The supervisor notices that they're being incredibly destructive and not at all following the rules, and calls a halt to the war in order for the actual magi involved and their Servants to stop them. While other Servants work together to stop Caster (who turned into a horrible monster), another Master shoots Ryuunosuke (who is excitedly cheering the horrible monster on) in the head.
Personality: Ryuunosuke loves life. That's why he likes taking it so much.

His main interest is in death, and what he sees to be beautiful in the experience. He enjoys killing people he doesn't know for the sole purpose of seeing them die. He often lures women attracted to him away from bars in order to murder them - when that stops being interesting, and he summons Caster, he switches mainly to killing children. He likes children. Less annoying than adults.

He sees more than that, though. He profoundly believes in God, who created a world full of rich experiences both wonderful and terrifying. If there's anything he dislikes, it's the kind of person who goes from day to day living the boring, same old routine that doesn't experience the full tapestry of life the world has to offer. Ryuunosuke loves the unfolding story of the world, and is excited by the chances to do strange things a normal person wouldn't see. That's one of the reasons why he travels all over the country. Another reason, of course, is not to be caught as a homicidal maniac.

The desire to be 'cool' drives him, although in a warped and twisted way. He's excellent at seduction, judging by how many women he can get to follow him to where he can kill them. Before canon starts, he's careful to dispose of the body and never kill twice on the same place; he doesn't like going into hiding at all, even for the sake of not being caught by the police.

From basically the moment that Caster's summoned, Ryuunosuke is more of his fanboy than his Master. Caster can kill in ways that he's never seen, in addition to being really cool just through his personality (well, according to Ryuunosuke). Ryuunosuke gets embarrassed at his compliments and thrills at his praise and encouragement, and enjoys nothing better than murdering alongside him. When summoning a Servant, if no artifact is possessed, one will call a Servant similar in character to them. Caster's hedonistic, self-centered view of the world and joy in killing is entirely among Ryuunosuke's tastes, and of all the Masters and Servants in the war, they easily have the friendliest relationship.

Compared to the magi who are his opponents, Ryuunosuke is incredibly casual. He's only a normal guy, after all. While a magus has been raised to be cold-blooded and an heir of a long legacy, Ryuunosuke only happens to have Magic Circuits, and only happens to have turned out as a serial killer. He's easily excitable at things he finds interesting, and doesn't mind talking about someone's impending death.

Game Specific:
Arcana: Devil
Justification: Knowledge of one's own desires and needs: Ryuunosuke does nothing for anyone else. He is completely focused on his own wants, even and especially when those wants result in the deaths of others.
Obsession: Enjoying killing at all is unhealthy, but he enjoys it enough to deserve the label of 'homicidal maniac'.
Material things: He focuses entirely on sensation and new physical experiences. He has no emotional bond even to his family; the only exception is possibly to Caster.
True evil: It's difficult to say that Ryuunosuke has any redeeming qualities at all.

Samples:
First Person Sample: [Being in a place like this, after seeing that amazing creature that defied all reason, was definitely a letdown. There was no one dying and no one in terror. He didn't even have his head off now.]

[He wouldn't try to repeat that to see the beautiful color of his own blood again. If he was wrong, then he'd miss out on something more amazing, and even if he was right, there was something very important to deal with first!]

A place like this is pretty boring, huh... Maybe things are different here and I just haven't found all the excitement yet. Oh, but that's not what this is about. I'm looking for somebody right now!

He's about 6'4", wears some kind of robes like a magician. Goes by Bluebeard, or, uh, what was that he called himself when we met? It was, hm, okay~ Yeah, if you see anybody called Caster, that has to be him.

It's not really as fun without him anymore, so if anybody sees him, give me a call! My name's Ryuunosuke.

Third Person Sample: It's a blessing and a curse, ending up in a strange place like this for no reason. It's a blessing because - waking up in a new place after what should have been his death, how exciting! He doesn't know how he got here or how he would get back to Fuyuki if he were to want to go back to Fuyuki. Definitely, this is outside of normal reasoning.

But everything here is too much the same. If he was going to end up in a fantasyland, then it should be more fantasy. A kidnapping scenario should have him doing something other than wandering around the city. This is like so many of the other places he'd been to. Everyone he sees in person is just boring.

Right. No reason to be upset about his luck when he hasn't even killed anyone yet. Sir Bluebeard would have definitely told him that he can't be limited by time or place when it comes to his own enjoyment. He'll make the most of this, as soon as he gets adjusted to here enough to not get caught.
